1. Fixed Ammonia Gas Detection Networks

Install electrochemical and catalytic sensors throughout compressor rooms, valve stations, and low-temperature zones. Multi-stage alarm thresholds ensure early audible notification and automated emergency mechanical ventilation activation.

2. Emergency Ventilation & Negative Pressure

Machinery rooms must be equipped with dedicated explosion-proof exhaust fans capable of achieving mandatory air change rates (typically 20 to 30 air changes per hour) under emergency conditions.

3. Automated Emergency Shutdown (ESD)

Emergency stop stations located outside mechanical room exits should immediately isolate liquid refrigerant supply valves, de-energize compressors, and start scrubber systems.
